An unexpected farewell: Praise

This afternoon, a friend from Fuller suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. I wasn’t super close with Praise, but we were friends, and we had a lot of mutual connections. She was always quick with a smile and a laugh. She was a beautiful soul.

Her Facebook quote so appropriately captures who she was and what she was about:

Live your life. Play outside. Jump as high as you can. Follow a path. Kiss upside down. Have a green day. Take a deep breath. Leave your head in the clouds. Make time. Wear flowers in your hair. See things from a new perspective…

One day, I believe we’ll meet again, and there’ll be only rejoicing. Until then, Praise, you’ll be dearly, dearly missed.
